Who We Are

What This Policy Covers

This policy explains how we handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (PDPA). It covers visitors to this website, people who send us an enquiry, and users of the AI Quarry software service. Where we provide AI Quarry under a written agreement with a customer, that agreement also applies and prevails if the two differ.

Data We Collect on This Website

• Contact Sales form: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), area of interest and message. We email these to our sales team to reply to your enquiry. The form is not stored in a database on this website.
• Email and WhatsApp: if you contact us directly, we receive your message and contact details through that channel.
• Server logs: like most web servers, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. To limit abuse of the form, we keep a short-lived, hashed record of the IP address that sent it.

We do not run advertising trackers on this website and we do not sell personal data.

Data in the AI Quarry Service

• Account data: the name, email address, role, company and sign-in records of each user, used to provide access, apply permissions and keep the account secure.
• Telemetry and operational data: sensor readings, equipment status, alerts, reports, floor plans, files and settings that come from the customer's sites, gateways and devices. This is mainly technical data about plant and equipment, not about individuals.
• Notification data: contact details the customer enters so the service can send alerts and reports.

The Customer Owns Its Data

Each customer owns the telemetry and operational data from its own sites. We process it on the customer's behalf to provide, support, secure and improve the service, and not for any unrelated purpose. Data is kept separate per company, and users see only the companies and places their role allows.

Cookies

• Website: the marketing pages set no cookies. The Contact Sales page sets one session cookie (vxsite), limited to that page, to protect the form against forged submissions. It is deleted when you close your browser.
• AI Quarry: the software uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your session. The browser may also store simple preferences locally on your device.

We do not use cookies for advertising.

Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers to run the website and the service, such as data centre hosting, email delivery and messaging, and an AI model provider for the optional AI features. They act on our instructions and receive only the data needed for their task. Some providers may process data outside Malaysia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected as the PDPA requires.

Security

VYROX is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for information security. Measures include encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based access, per-company data separation, signed gateway updates and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected customers of a confirmed breach as required by law.

How Long We Keep Data

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to run any resulting project. We keep account and telemetry data for as long as the customer's account is active or as set out in the customer's agreement, and delete or return it after the account ends, unless we must keep it by law.

Your Rights

Under the PDPA you may ask to access or correct your personal data, or to withdraw consent or limit its processing. If you are a user of a customer's account, we may refer your request to that customer.
